God’s gift by Terri George Oh goodness… I really really liked and enjoyed reading this book! I give it 4.5 stars. I absolutely loved the characters ! They were so funny and yet, tough and strong at the same time. Great combination! Sebastian is the ultimate God’s gift to any woman. Women want him and men want to be him! He is cocky, arrogant and sexy as heck. He loves woman… all shapes, sizes and ethnicities , he's not picky whatsoever. He just has one downfall … he doesn't do relationships, at all. He is the use them and lose them type of guy. Just wants them for one thing and one thing only. Until.. Gina is Sebastian’s co worker. They work closely on deals together on a daily basis. She is strong and extremely independent. She takes no nonsense from anyone. She can spot a womanizer a mile away. And she knows how men like him work. And ideally ... she wants nothing to do with him.But their connection is immediate! They both try and fight is. But they just can't, no matter how hard they try. It's just impossible for either one of them to not act out on their feelings. But is it true… can you mix business with pleasure? Or will it ruin things before it even begins?? You HAVE to read this book to find out what happens!! I read it in just a few hours. It's one of those types of books where it's near impossible to put down. Yes, it was that good. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens in the second book… I can't wait!!

I received an ARC for my honest review.Sebastian Baines truly does think he's 'God's Gift' to women, with the things he says and the way he plays women you'd think he wouldn't be that desirable- but wow he is! He has this cheeky wit and charm he's a total British cheeky chap you just can't help but love. Sebastian's been offered the job of a life time over in the USA and when he starts working there he meets Italian hottie Gina. Gina can tell Sebastian is a player and stays away from him or tries to at least. What woman can resist though? God's Gift 1 follows Sebastian and Gina's as they go from colleagues to getting hot an heavy in the bedroom. I loved seeing Sebastian transform from the arrogant player with the help of a good woman! The Italian sayings are a fabulous touch. I truly loved the entire book and was captivated from start to finish! Beware it ends on a cliffhanger I'm hoping we won't have to wait too long for book two because I need to know what happens next!!!Brilliantly sexy and entertaining read, five stars from me!

4 StarsGod’s Gift 1 by Terri George is the first book in the Taking it Stateside series. It's the first book I've read from this author. After reading the blurb I was hesitant to start reading this thinking it was going to be the same “woman falls in love with hot rich guy” but boy was I wrong! Ms. George wrote a fantastic novel that gripped me from the get-go. Sebastian Baines seems to have it all! He's hot, wealthy, and has his pick of women any day of the week. When a job opportunity has him moving from the UK to New York, he feels it's going to be swarm of new women and hefty pay raise. What's really waiting for him is a fiercely independent, smart, beautiful woman who will not only knock him down personally, but professionally as well. The only problem is, she wants nothing to do with him. Sebastian won't take no for an answer though. He wants Gina and wants her now. But the question is will his charm work on her? Gina Fontana is a junior associate at Berger & Schwartz. She's as successful as she can be in what she deems a male dominated company. When Sebastian starts working for the same company she can tell he's a womanizer and tries to stay clear of him. But when they are thrown together on a project she sees a different side to him and the attraction she feels doesn't help her either. Will she be able to tame the playboy or will he break her heart? I was completely surprised at how much I loved this book! I couldn't put it down. As much as I wanted to hate Sebastian and his ways, but I couldn't. The way Sebastian and Gina go back and forth with each other had me laughing out loud. Ms.George did a phenomenal job and I am looking forward to reading the next book!

4 stars God’s Gift 1: Taking It Stateside – Terri George This is the story about a sexy guy with an English accent (Not British – English) - “English accent. Why do Americans insist on lumping us all together? The Scottish and Welsh are “British” too, but they sound very different…” who KNOWS he’s God’s Gift. Sebastian has his choice of women to shag, is wealthy and brilliant and works in Mergers and Acquisitions. Sebastian is promoted and transferred to the New York office and the transfer package he is given boosts his already high estimation of himself. At the new firm in New York he meets Gina. Gina is an Italian American who was raised by her loving grandparents. She is an artist and Lead Junior Associate at the same firm. Gina intrigues him. He wants her. He NEEDS her. A past girlfriend haunts him, so he no longer has relationships – he just has one night stands. Will Gina be different? Can she help him get over his past? The main characters of this book are well developed. Throughout the story, a backstory seems to be unfolding. Most of the secondary characters have ulterior motives that lean more towards the dark underbelly of the business world – trying to make the most money with no regard for who they hurt. There are twists and turns along the way which kept me on my toes and paying attention. Colleagues with grudges, a deal that seems on the up and up – but is it? and new friends who may not be who they seem to be. God’s Gift 1 ends with a cliffhanger (hence the 1 after God’s Gift)

Sebastian Baines has been working for Fraser & Moore for 6 years in the UK. Fraser & Moore were subject to a hostile takeover by Berger & Schwartz. The Chief Operations Officer Tom Wagner came to London from NYC to have meetings with some of the staff. When Sebastian was called in, he thought for sure, his job was safe until, Tom say "you'll be leaving Fraser & Moore" What Tom meant was Sebastian was being offered a great package to move NYC. He was able to keep his 5 weeks of Holiday allocation, a 35% salary increase and an apartment in Manhattan rent free. Sebastian would be a fool not to take it. He was given a 1 year contract and if everything went well it would be extended indefinitely. Sebastian is quite the playboy or Gods Gift to women as the author states. He pretty much only has to smile at a girl for her to drop her panties. There's a long line of women who he has been with and now he's moving to NYC to find many more girls to have one night stands with. Sebastian never goes for repeats. His first day working at B&S he is introduced to some of the key brokers he will be working with. Immediately he does not like Ryan and Aaron. Always go with your first impressions. Once Sebastian meets Gina Fontana who happens to be the junior associate he is working closely with he realizes he's going to have a hard time concentrating. Gina immediately finds him very attractive too. They end up having to work close on the Balin-Speyer takeover. Gina has her own reasons why she can't stand Theo Balin. He's a pig and thinks he's gods gift to women and treats all of them horribly. In a way, Theo and Sebastian are pretty much the same. Sebastian ends up getting an invite to the hamptons to celebrate the 40th wedding anniversary of his client Daniel Speyer and his wife Meryl. Sebastian was told to bring his girlfriend and stay the night in a hotel close by. He ends up telling Gina she needs to go with him as his date. They start brainstorming on what to get as a gift. They want something personable. That's when Sebastian finds out Gina is an artist and she is very good at it too. Gina ends up creating a painting of the happy couple which is amazing. That night changes everything for Gina and Sebastian. He plans to get her drunk and seduce her. He has to have her and her her out of his system. The few days after are quite awkward at work. Finally Sebastian realizes, he cannot stop thinking about Gina but he has to since he doesn't do repeats. He ends up hanging out one night with coworkers including Gina at a bar but leaves with some random girl. Once the cab pulls up at her place, he realizes he can't do it. He only wants Gina! He ends up leaving and going home alone....shocking! He sends Gina flowers at work with a note on the card that says "I want a repeat"That's when the book really starts to get good. They end up in a serious relationship and keeping their work relationship separate from their home relationship. No one in the office even knows they are saying except Matt who is one of their good friends. A scandal breaks out at work and it's enough to send Sebastian over the edge. He feels guilty about everything that happened to cause the scandal and what happened to the person I'm involved. Sebastian and Gina have a ridiculous amount of chemistry and it makes the book that much better. What will happen to Gina and Sebastian's relationship in the next book? Will they be able to stay together or will Sebastian lose the one thing that means the most to him?I thought the book was ok. The first 25% of the book kind of dragged on and I didn't really see why it was needed but, once I got past that part, I began to like the book.

Holy smokes this book it HOT!!!!!! I loved every minute of this book. One minute I was on the edge of my seat and then I was just smiling really big. Sebastian is my new book boyfriend, wow he is H.O.T. I wish I could hear his accent in real life. Sebastian lives in London at the beginning and now he is offered a job to work at the company that took over the company he is currently working at. Now he has to move to New York for a year. Sebastian was offered a very pricey salary along with rent free apartment and he was all set to move. He went to work at his new office and found the most beautiful woman he had ever laid eyes on and he wanted to go out with her even though he made it a point not to date people he works with. Gina couldn’t believe how handsome the new guy was and she was practically drooling when she set her eyes on him. She knew she had to stay away and avoid his charm because he is definitely a player and she wants no part of that. But can she resist him. They end up working on the same project and are forced to be in the same place at the same time and she can’t resist his accent or his charm and he is very good at charming. Wow this book is so amazing. I was drawn in until the very end and OMG the end. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

5 StarsGod’s Gift 1: Taking it Stateside by Terri George has all the elements that make an irresistible, entertaining and enthralling story.Cheeky, charming bad boy: CHECKSexy, panty melting English accent: CHECKBlonde, blue eyed sex god: CHECKCurvy, beautiful, Italian Goddess: CHECKImmediate connection and chemistry: CHECKGiving in to overwhelming desires: CHECKErotic, explicit and oh so HOT, bedroom scenes: CHECKFireworks: CHECKInter-continental romance: CHECKJealous advisory: CHECKA must read Author: CHECK CHECK CHECKSebastian Baines is a notorious lady’s man- loving and leaving a swathe of beauties in his wake. Having been burned badly by a past romance, he no longer does the relationship thing; just hook-ups and no ‘repeats’. He moves from London to New York- as he has been recognised as a rising star in the mergers and acquisitions world and was offered an employment package that was too good to refuse. The first day at work, Sebastian is introduced to the people he will be working with…. the sexy brunette, with whom he will be working with mostly- is going to make concentrating on his work, very difficult.Gina Sebastian has worked very hard to get where she is in the male dominated industry and she isn’t about to throw it all away for a moment of pleasure. She recognises Sebastian for the manwhore that he is and wants nothing to do with him- no matter how charming, gorgeous and tempting he may be.Things get complicated when the two of them are required to spend a weekend at the Hamptons, meeting with a client. A few too many drinks weakens both their resolves and they succumb to the high voltage current that has been surging between them since they met. Sparks fly, sheets combust and in the morning, regret seems to be the order of the day. Gina can’t believe she fell for his charms and he can’t understand why she is still firmly fixed in his mind. Normally bedding a woman would purge her out of his system, but this time seems to have had the opposite effect- burrowing under his skin and making the way to his heart.Sebastian and Gina try very hard to fight their attraction and resist giving into their desire again, but ultimately find it’s futile. They agree to a relationship, outside of work only.Meanwhile there is treacherous plot to discredit and undermine Sebastian’s efforts and thwart his performance. This could be very detrimental to Sebastian’s future stateside and be quite damaging- not only to his reputation, but also to his and Gina’s relationship. He wants her, needs her and can’t stand the thought of losing her. This story is told from a duel P.O.V and so well written, that Ms. George had me eating up every word of this deliciously alluring, funny and sexy read.Ms. George has a polished and confident style to her writing, which shows in the well-conceived storyline and the strong, fully developed characters. She held my attention from the very first sentence, to the very last word. It is well paced, which allows for it to be read fairly quickly. The story ends on a cliff-hanger and I was so caught up with the story that I didn’t see it coming and couldn’t believe it was over…. So I will be waiting very expectantly for the next book to continue Sebastian and Gina’s story.I definitely recommend this book; it really is a fantastic read!

God’s Gift 1: Taking it stateside by Terri George an amazing Five-Star Read its so much fun read Englishisms in a book set in America, its also nice to see a hot English dude, I know there are several out there but Sebastian seems to rock the union jack harder. I also love how the book kicks off with a glossary, they made me properly laugh out loud. The book is set around Sebastian who grew up in a little English town where his dad washed the car and mowed the lawn on a Saturday and his mum made a traditional Sunday Roast every week. Typical small town life, his mum and dad had small dreams but Sebastian had bigger dreams, leaving home at 18 he studied hard to make the most of the brains he had, because charm can only get you so far and he didn’t want to have to run home and put a red and yellow uniform on, he wanted to make something of himself. We meet him as he is boarding a flight to The USA, in a sharp suit as he knows the way to get an upgrade and probably a lady is to look good, and god knows he’s god gift to women and he looks good. He has spent several years working hard for his current company and when they get taken over he gets the offer of a life time, a year in the states with a large pay rise and a rent free apartment. All Sebastian can think of is the ladies he can charm, but only those that can follow rules, one night only, no body he works with, because who wants to see a one night stand over and over, that’s how the get clingy. His number one rule thou is never bring them home, always go to their place, then you get to leave when you want. That is until he meets her.Her being Gina Fontana an American with a strong Italian heritage, a junior associate at the company that Sebastian is going to work for, a Junior associate that will have to work under Sebastian closely on a project they will both be working hard on, there is a strong attraction between them but Gina isn’t interested in becoming a notch on a player’s bedpost, and he isn’t interested in sleeping with someone he works with despite the attraction they both feel. That is until a fateful party, the relationship develops from there and you get sucked into the story, learning a few Italian words along the way. This book is so well written and you get so sucked in that this book had me in tears at the end!! I am literally shouting at my laptop and am going to send a begging message to the author to make sure book 2 is on its way. I don’t know how long I can wait to find out what happens next.

God’s Gift 1 ( Taking It Stateside)Terri George 4 mergers and acquisitions starsWhat is it about the name Sebastian? That character name is up there with my favs, so hello I was sucked in from the very beginning. I’ve had the pleasure of reading previous stories from Terri George so I was stoked when I won this in a competition and got to read an Arc only weeks after its release. So nothing left to say but I love it, and need book 2 right now!Mr Sebastian Baines, is playboy, loaded, sex god and great at his job in London , so when he is offered a job in Berger and Swartz in New York for 365 days off he heads in 1st class to a new job and more women to bed... Before he even gets to New York he is up to his old tricks, 1st class pick ups, and joining the mile high club is just another notch in his belt. This man will never learn. But on his 1st day, he meets a sprightly receptionist who makes her clear want for him very obvious, but for bed hopping badboy Sebastian, he is taken by a gorgeous co-worker who will finally teach him a lesson. On top of other senior associates with huge attitudes and hate towards the new guy he has his work cut out for him Stateside. Gina Fontana really can’t stand new guy, Sebastian, his I can give you a panty dropping smile and you’ll give me anything look just annoys her more. But secretly she can’t help the attraction. But seeing him in action makes her sick, men like him are not long haul, they are all drink, bed, bye bye.... Not going there! What Gina didn’t take into consideration was working closely with him, and his ability to get to her makes it worse.Together on a huge merger, Sebastian and Gina find a way to work together and build a friendship. This is new to Sebastian and he is about to go on the ride of his life with this smart, gorgeous firecracker who will test him and push him beyond anything he ever thought. Sebastian Baines doesn’t chase women – they chase him... Simple, but this woman will change everything for him both in the business and personal world. Add one headstrong male, a smart ass woman, a company hiding secrets and the troop of co-worker’s who hate your guts and you’ve got yourself God’s Gift 1. Sebastian is quickly going to find out who is his enemies really are when everything goes to crap in New York. Be warned this one finishes on a small cliffhanger, and I’m anxiously waiting for book 2 and the conclusion of Sebastian and Gina’s story.

Sebastian Baines is the perfect definition of a playboy. He loves everything about women, especially bedding them. He is not a hearts and flowers type of guy. He is gorgeous, rich and every woman wants to bed him and every man wishes they could be him. He has worked his way through practically every willing woman in London. Sebastian works in mergers and acquisitions and is at the top in his field, and when the company he works for is taken over by Berger & Schwartz, he is given a great opportunity...work stateside in New York City. His contract is for one year so that gives him exactly that amount of time to work his way through the female population of New York City. Sebastian settles in pretty easily and looks forward to making a name for himself at Berger & Schwartz. After all they are the ones that made him a sweet deal to bring him there. He is immediately assigned a project that has him working with Gina. She is an Italian spitfire, who is extremely attractive and makes men swoon. She has confidence in her abilities in the field, but also knows a womanizer when she sees one. Despite the fact that she finds Sebastian attractive, she knows that he is a womanizer and wants nothing to do with him. They have to work together on the project assigned to them and she does not want to jeopardize her career that she has worked so hard for. Mergers and acquisitions is a man's world and she does not want to get a reputation as a woman who sleeps her way to the top. As much as Gina tries to ignore Sebastian's charm and whit, she can't help but be drawn to him. Sebastian of course finds Gina attractive and most definitely wants to sleep with her. However, as they work closely together, he sees a side of her that makes him yearn for more than just a quick hook up. He finds himself wanting something more permanent with her. Sebastian and Gina were the perfect match. Sebastian can be arrogant and Gina calls him out on it. Gina has a tendency to jump to conclusions due to her insecurities, but Sebastian won't let her get away with it. Their back and forth banter with each other is so effortless, it is as if they have known and been with each other for years. They were made for each other. I cannot wait to see what happens next.

God’s Gift 1 is the first book in a new series from Terri George.Young, Hot, Loaded & British is a lethal combination, and that is exactly what Sebastian Baines is. Sebastian is a charmer, whether that’s in business deals or women and he is at the top of his game. Given a new contract for one year Sebastian is taking it stateside. He plans to make some Mergers and acquisitions of his own and charm his way through the female population.Back home in London he has no problem pulling the ladies, but since being in New York something is driving him crazy, someone is driving him crazy. The one women he wants doesn’t think he is God’s Gift.Terri George’s writing was brilliant and had me turning page after page from start to finish.Sebastian is everything your mum warns you about. He can get everything he wants, even if it is with a woman. He works hard in the job he does and he is good at it and he isn’t afraid to show it. He May be a player but by god is he desirable. He is never a one women man, but when he meets Gina you see him change from the confident, witty, sweet talking man into a man who wants to change for her. Gina is beautiful, sassy, smart and Italian! I just love everything about her. She gives Sebastian a hard time and she knows how to make him work for it! She is an independent, head-strong woman who doesn’t just fall for anyone, but she challenges Sebastian that makes her and him want to change. The connection between the two goes from friendly to passionate and the chemistry is unbelievable and I think they bring the best out of each other. I like to twists that are in this book, as it made it more captivating than just being a sexual romance book, of how the bad boy turns good. They fell in love really quickly but I think that shows just how right they are for each other. I love how their relationship grows throughout the book. They are a good match as co-workers and they balance each other out. I loved how Sebastian takes her in high consideration at work and gives her credit where credit is due but he also sees her as an equal. The only bad thing about this book is you’re are left on a cliff hanger…waiting for your questions to be answered, and for Sebastian & Gina Story to Continue in Book 2.

Sebastian Baines truly believes he's God's Gift to women, and with as many women that have fallen at his feet, he has no reason to ever doubt it. He works hard, and plays even harder, so his life is perfect. There are no clouds on the horizon, until the company that he works for is taking over. Luckily for him, he's at the top of his game so he's one of the few offered to stay on with the new company. He's offered a contract with a big raise, and he just has to go over to the US office for a year. Sebastian is excited for the challenge of landing American women, as he's never had a problem getting whoever he wants. That is, until he meets a new co-worker, Gina, who doesn't fall for his charm. He can't get her out of his mind, and it's driving him crazy, so he ups his game. When the chase begins, who will come out on top?First of all, that sexy cover had me drooling. (Just had to get that out there.) This is the first book that I've read by this author, and I absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED this story. Terri George's brilliant, and easy writing style had me all in, cover to cover, as I couldn't get enough. Even when Sebastian had me dropping f-bombs in anger, I still couldn't stop loving his arrogant self with all of his flaws. And Gina was awesome, and I'm girl crushing hard on her. There were twists that came out of left field to throat punch me, which made for great OMG moments, and I did feel Gina's emotions physically more than once. The combustible chemistry finally EXPLODES into FIERY FLAMES of sexy scene goodness that will destroy all panties reading it. The ending, however, didn't enrage me to where I messaged this talented author calling names, but it did leave me hanging enough which gave Terri George a one way ticket to the list of authors trying to kill me. So while I'm not as upset, it doesn't mean that I may or may not be stalking her waiting for the next book impatiently. Bottom line, I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STORY TO ALL!

God’s Gift by Terri George was an amazing read. Two strong characters with a great story line will help me but this on my repeat read list. Terri George has created Sebastian, a book boyfriend that will make you want to melt. Sebastian is offered a job in New York which he accepts. A new place and new ladies who will fall over him. He is introduced to Gina, a junior associate, who doesn’t think he is god’s gift to anything. Before long, Sebastian needs Gina’s help which she gladly does. This is a huge turning point for them both. Gina decided to give in to him and they share an amazing HOT night together to celebrate a takeover. Afterwards, he finds himself unable to be with anyone else, he just wants GINA! While he never has done repeats, but he needs and craves so much more with Gina. There is amazingly sweet moments when you see them falling in love and moments that hold such hot and passionate scenes. They are able to keep the relationship at home separate from work until a scandal hits. This sends Sebastian into a tail spin. He is wrecked with guilt over how things have went down with everyone involved. Can they make it past this, can what they have built become stronger or weaker? This is book one and I loved how this book was mostly in Sebastian’s point of a view with a few chapters from Gina’s. Normally I do not like books from the male POV but getting inside Sebastian’s head made this an even better read. I am giving this book 5 stars, Terri’s writing style, the strong characters, I just could not get enough of this book. The unexpected turns this book throws at you will continue to draw you in and await book 2 in the series. The passionate, the love, and draw of Sebastian and Gina will leave a mark. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves romance, hot scenes, love, and the cliffhangers like I do. Amazing read!

God’s Gift 1: Taking it Stateside by Terrie George is a sexy story of two co-workers who have chemistry like no other. Sebastian Baines is a British playboy. The story starts with him in London working at Fraser & Moore until the company goes through a hostile takeover. At which point the COO of Berger & Schwartz makes an offer to Sebastian that he isn’t able to refuse. 1 year in New York, an apartment that is paid for, and a job that he loves. A job that he is great at. On his way to New York and once while there, he proves his playboy ways are still as accurate as ever. That is until he meets Gina.Gina is a strong willed, independent, outspoken woman who is fighting her way through a business world and a company that appears to favor males. She is the junior associate assigned to help Sebastian with the one deal that might just break Sebastian’s record. Gina has many great ideas about how to go about the deal and how to charm the seller of the business. However, she also has history with the potential buyer. Surprising, shocking and tragic history.Sebastian and Gina’s chemistry is palpable from the beginning and as much as they both want to fight it; they eventually realize they cannot. Once Sebastian makes a huge mistake he realizes how much he feels for Gina and how much he really needs to make it up to her and show her he is serious about wanting to be a one-woman man for her. This is a great story! There is a lot of background and so many emotions. It is interesting reading about Sebastian and Gina, their relationship, their banter. She is the yin to his yang. They balance each other. She keeps him in line. The story ends in a cliffhanger…and I cannot wait for number 2!!

God's Gift 1 is the story of an English player, Sebastian, and the Italian American woman, Gina, who steals his heart. To be honest, it took me a while to warm up to Sebastian. He's not cruel with women, just very casual, and I wasn't getting a lot of deep feelings from him. Also, they fell in love quickly and I wished we had been given more internal dialogue and got to experience that fall. I never quite figured out why they fell in love, beyond intense physical attraction. But once they were in a relationship, the story takes off. I have read this author before and she is great at exploring how people's pasts and the moral dilemmas they face, can trip them and their love lives up. Sebastian just wants to do his job and love Gina, but he is swimming with Wall Street sharks, and things are never easy. The story is primarily told from his POV with some of Gina's tucked in. Sebastian is English so his dialogue definitely reflects that. Some phrases might be new to American readers but that is part of the fun of reading this book. The sex is hot and steamy, along with some really sweet moments when they realize they are in love. This is Part 1 of a two part book so we end on a bit of a cliffhanger. They are together and love each other but their jobs are getting in the way of them planning a future. And Sebastian is going to need Gina to stand by him as life hits him in the face. So God's Gift 1 started out slow for me but I'm so glad I stayed with it because it ended strong. I'm looking forward to Part 2!I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

If I have to choose a soundtrack for this book it would be the song "I'm an Englishman in New York"Ladies and Gentlemen please meet Mr. Sebastian Baines. He's smart, rich, gorgeous, charming, sexy and one hell of a businessman. Hearts and flowers are not his things. The usual cliché? No, not at all, this character is unique. I fell in love with him because he is a shark in business and at the same time a man with integrity, he is ambitious but knows his limits. I fell in love of his British charm and when he speaks... OMG, I'd love this book as an Audiobook just to listen to his sexy accent. And beside a strong male character this book has not less than a great woman, and Gina is perfect. She's beautiful, sexy and smart. She has Italian origins and sometimes she likes to speak Italian, this adds a nice and sassy touch to the book.Between Sebastian and Gina the chemistry is hot, they’re perfect for each other and I love how their relationship grows throughout the book. They aren’t a good match only in the bedroom but also as co-workers. And I loved how Sebastian takes her in high consideration at work, sees her as an equal with the same skills dealing with customers. And he’s ready to support and take her side. The story has a natural flow and has some twists and turns, keeping me on my toes till the end. What I love about this author? She can write very erotic and steamy sex scenes with finesse. What I hate about this author? She ended the book with a cliffie. But now I can’t wait for book #2.Read my review on my blog: http://jewelbooklover.blogspot.it/201...

FIVE STARSGOD'S GIFT 1(Taking It Stateside)AUTHOR : TERRI GEORGEGOD'S GIFT 1 is the first book in the "Taking It Stateside" series by Terri George. DO NOT MISS THIS SERIES!! This is the first book by Terri George I have read and boy have I been missing out. GOD'S GIFT 1 is over the top and a complete five stars. Terri has a remarkable way with words and also in creating the most amazing characters. She drew me into this book and kept me hostage until the very end. Steamy, hot and sexy! Hold onto your hats. You are in for a smoking hot ride!If you like drop dead gorgeous, crazy sexy, filthy rich alpha males, then you are going to fall madly in love with Sebastian Baines. But beware - he is also a bad boy. But every bad boy has a soft spot. And when they fall.....they fall hard.Sebastian is originally from London where he is a highly respected and successful broker for a merger and acquisitions company. He is living the perfect bachelor life. When his company is taken over, he accepts a job with the new company in New York. The phenomenal contract is for one year. This inspires Sebastian to up his game: at work and play. He has big plans to play the field, because after all, women can't resist him. Of course, he hasn't met his extremely talented and beautiful co-worker, Gina yet. She doesn't seem to be affected by his charm or stunning looks. That only makes her that much more appealing to Sebastian. He didn't realize that he was prone to falling for someone. Suddenly his bad boy ways have changed and you won't want to miss how he pursues her. Game on.

Oh I loved this book so much I don’t know if I can do it justice!Terri George has smashed it again!God’s Gift is an erotic romance, but Terri and her fantastic writing gives it an edge that other books in this genre are lacking. She simply has a way with words, giving this book class and finesse mixed with the down right dirty and scandalous.I love how Sebastian (God’s Gift himself) keeps his British swagger and sense of humour throughout the story. He is such a strong character (and the perfect physical form a man could possibly be – thank you Terri) and sticks to his guns on every decision. He is so sure of himself and certainly has no problems with his ego, two traits that in others would come across as arrogance, but with Sebastian, all you can do is nod along and agree with him. Then we have Gina. Beautiful, sassy and Italian! What a combo! I just love everything about her. She gives Sebastian a real hard time and she knows how to make a man work for it!Quite often I find that I lean towards either the male or female, thinking that one is too good for the other. But this book breathes equality in a relationship. I just hope that Terri doesn’t give them too hard of a time in their next book!God’s Gift is certainly a story that demands to be read. It is simply stunning. From the very first page it held me captive, taking me along this beautiful ride that had me smiling a lot and a little hot at times! (Ok I’m lying, I was practically in flames throughout the whole book!)

God’s Gift by Terri George is a book that I give 4 stars. Sebastian is a man whore plain and simple…. as the title says, he thinks he is God’s gift to the entire female population.Gina is looking to be more that a one night stand, she knows how guys like Sebastian are and wants no part of it.Can Sebastian go from man whore lifestyle to being in a monogamous relationship???? Let's see!!Sebastian is a sexy Brit, who is transferred to the New York for his job. Before he even leaves England, he is already mentally calculating how many woman he can “meet” in The US. His tally starts on the plane, this is about to get interesting… He starts his new job in The States and finds out he will be working with Gina, a Junior Associate in the company. He is automatically attracted to her. Can he add her to his list of conquests? He surely hopes so. Until he realizes that she won't be easy. They are invited to a clients party, where they pose as a couple. Once the alcohol is flowing freely through Ginas body, Sebastian knows things are going to go his way. In the morning, Gina is not a happy person, after waking with a hangover from hell and to see who she is with. After bumping into each other outside of work more and more, they decide to start seeing each other. Feelings get heavily involved and turn into love for them both. After a tragic incident, their love may be put to the true test. We shall see what happens to Sebastian and Gina in Book 2. I can not wait until I can read what is to copy me next for them!!!

God’s Gift 1, “taking it stateside”, written by Terri George. The first in its series. It lured me in with the main character, Sebastian Baines being British. I was reading in my head with an accent lol. Sebastian is a hot dream making deals and steals in the corporate world in the UK. His company decides to send him stateside to New York to work, free apartment, amenities, year long work contract with the salary to boot. Thinking he's on top of the world he's introduced to a junior associate, Gina; an Italian that sets his intra caveman on fire. Sebastian and Gina are teamed up to make a takeover happen. When a work getaway function presents itself, Sebastian and Gina unite together to seal the deal. Upon celebrating the win, Gina throws caution to the wind and falls to Sebastian's charms. Gina is furious to know she let her guard down with Sebastian. It's after that night he discovers he is done with being a womanizer. Knowing he going to have to work harder for this deal. When his work is sabotaged he has to figure out who set him up to fail. Everything he has accomplished is blown up and his time here thinking his time here in New York is over, having Gina by his side could soften the blow. The book ends on a cliffhanger!! I can't wait for the second book to come out so I can finally know where their love ends up!

4.5 out of 5 starsThis book made me realise how British I actually am. I loved the glossary of British terms at the front. I was laughing and saying ‘Yea, I say that’ to most of them. This book was sooo good and now I am just waiting for the second book to come out because the cliffhanger has me in such suspense right now. Sebastian is a Brit and he has been sought after to work for the American company that has taken over the one he works for in England. Sebastian is such a ladies’ man and he can charm anyone, which is why he is good at his job. He meets Gina, who has been assigned to help him, at the firm he now works for. Their relationship to start with made me laugh. Gina is such a witty person. They are both invited to a party, where Sebastian cleverly decided they were going to pretend to be a couple. Gina, of course, was not happy about this. But that is where things changed. ‘Christ Gina, what are you doing to me? Why do I want you so bad?’There were parts in the book that made me laugh because it applies so much to us British folk.‘English accent. Why do you Americans insist on lumping us all together? The Scottish and Welsh are ‘British’ too, but they sound very different’Sebastian and Gina made me laugh and sometimes, almost cry, in parts. I honestly cannot wait until the next book comes out.

God’s Gift is about Sebastian Baines, who comes to the States for a job. He is everything a person would want in a guy, but not for long. Sebastian is someone that every hot blooded woman should stay away from because he is bad for your health. He is filthy rich, drop dead gorgeous, and young. When the company he works for in England gets taken over by a United States based company, he gets offered a year’s contract and comes to the States. While over in the States, he thinks he can cut a path in American women. What Sebastian wasn’t expecting was his junior associate, Gina. Gina doesn’t do players and that is exactly what Sebastian is. She vows to stay away from him no matter the cost. When the only way to get a deal is for Sebastian to attend an anniversary party and bring his girlfriend, he thinks of Gina. When Gina finds out that he played her that night she gets extremely upset at him and doesn’t want anything to do with him following that. When Gina realizes she is falling in love with Sebastian and him the same, they decide to give a relationship a go. This is a beautifully wrote story that will leave you laughing at the antics that Sebastian gets up to. You will fall in love with Sebastian and Gina’s story because it isn’t a normal love story. The way Terri George has created a set of characters and plot that will leave you looking forward to part two.

I Really enjoyed this book and it's titled is Spot On. Yep God's Gift is about a great looking guy who has the world by the tail and has all the right moves with the ladies. Well most ladies. Sebastian takes a promotion in the United States and meets Gina and boy does he want her to be a notch on his belt. But, Gina will prove a little more work than our guy is used to and she for sure isn’t the one night stand type that Sebastian prefers. Or is she? The author does a great job of drawing you in and keeping on your toes as to exactly which direction this story is going to go. There are several twists and turns that will keep you turning page after page to see what is going to happen next with our main characters, with their jobs and even with their outlook on their own way of life. The only sad thing I will say is the book ends on a cliffie leaving you wanting book 2 in the series to hurry up and get here to find out just what happens next. Ms. George has a wonderful writing style, one I thoroughly enjoyed and have marked to follow her works. 2 Thumbs Up for a great book that is definitely worth a 1-click - cliffie and all.

A fantastic read with lots of fun entertaining moments between the character and the storyline itself. I enjoyed the plot and flow of the story it was wonderfully written with lots of angst and swooning moments along with the getting the readers emotions spiked in a boisterous manner. The theme of redeeming oneself and realizing what they are truly looking for and stopping at nothing to gain it, along with learning to let go and trust whole heartily will never get old and will always be appreciated. The romance is endearing with some explicit sexual content which is always fun. The different characters perspectives is also a blast, it makes reading the characters seem more personally. The female lead Gina is very fierce in her independence and opinion, which is admirable but also quite frustrating but reading her journey and the change she makes is worth it. The male lead Sebastian is so incredibly swoon worthy, his determination and assurance is one that can't be rivaled along with his patience which was in an abundance. The supporting characters were awesome, while some were great and supportive the villains were also just as entertaining to read about. A recommended read.

God's Gift 1: Taking it Stateside is the first book in a new series by Terri George. Sebastian Baines is the bad boy all girls fantasize about. He is smart, hot, young and rich. And oh so alpha male! He is also a sweet talker that can close major deals, in business and with women. Gina Fontana is a junior associate at Berger & Schwartz. She is intelligent, good looking and a talented artist. She also knows a bad boy when she sees one. Gina is determined to stay clear of Sebastian but that proves to be a challenge when she is unmistakably attracted to him. I loved this book! Sebastian and Gina have great chemistry. There is a physical attraction but he also sees her as his equal. Gina is independent woman who does not swoon at the sight of handsome face. It’s almost like you are watching to people in an actual relationship. I love that! This is not your typical romance story. Terri George has done a fantastic job setting up the storyline and characters for this series. I for one am looking forward to the next book.

God’s Gift 1:Taking it Stateside was a great 5 star read.Sebastian Baines is your ultimate bad boy with lots of money. When he comes to the states for a job he may get more than he bargained for. Sebastian is arrogant, sexy and cocky and doesn’t do relationships. He did make me laugh at times with his antics.Gina is a co-worker and is very independent. She knows the kind of guy Sebastian is and knows just how to handle him. So she thought. These two have a connection that eventually they can no longer fight. Is Gina the one that can finally change Sebastian? This was a great fun read about two people that were not looking for love. I was captured right from the beginning and I didn’t want to put it down. God’s Gift does end in a cliffhanger, I’m impatiently waiting for book 2. Thank you Terri George for the great read, I suggest you 1-Click and get started today.

Now this was an interesting read! Sebastian is just as the title says...god's gift. He has the looks, he's got the game and he gets what he wants, he even has a great job with wonderful perks. Until Gina that is, she doesn't fall for the charm and panty dropping smile, right away that is. A great story is brewing between these two. Will they have and HEA? What happens when he doesn't exactly like how the job is leaning? Will he lose it all? Where does Gina fit into this grand scheme? I thoroughly enjoyed the characters. I loved how the story was written but I HATE how it ends....it's one of those no no no moments, when you've run out of pages to turn...yup, a cliffie! Can't wait for book 2 of Sebastian and Gina.
