5 zvezdica, samo zato što su me par puta baš slatko nasmejale neke scene i konverzacije. Svi likovi su zaista sjajni i zabavni. Apsolutno sam uživala čitajući ovu priču!

Matching Mr. Right by Tamra BaumannPurchased: Received ARC from author in exchange for an honest reviewMy Rating: 4 of 5 Stars Spoilers! What’s It All About:“Shelby Marx helps clients find on-line love by day, but at night she writes children’s books featuring a naughty monkey named Chester. The monkey constantly seeks forgiveness, just as Shelby struggles to forgive herself for a tragic childhood accident that stole everyone she loved. Now she yearns to create a new family. While posing as the world’s most difficult client to obtain Shelby’s matchmaking secrets, Nick accidentally falls hard for Shelby. But she has another man in her long-term plans. Can he borrow a trick or two from mischievous Chester to win Shelby’s heart?”Description taken from Amazon. The Best Parts: This book is a wonderful rom com. It is light hearted and makes you swoon with anticipation. The characters are so much fun to read, especially Emily and Jo, even though they are secondary characters. The chemistry between Nick and Shelby flies off the page and hits you right in the heart. Nick is a guy that means well, but in the end he is just another guy who thinks he knows what is best, but doesn’t know any better. It makes you on edge every second because you don’t know what is coming next, but you do and then you want to punch something and then you swoon a little more, and then, well then you get all hot and bothered because those kisses. Nick’s kisses. Hot. Like hot that they don’t even have to be “on screen” and still be awesome. All the fact that he is so sweet to Shelby and loves Emily so much. So basically what you all can get from this book is that it is basically setting up your prince charming and what you should expect from a man who has manners and loves his family so much. Nick is the kind of man ever girl deserves. The Worst Parts:The one thing that I had trouble getting around was the relationship with Greg. I know that Shelby liked Nick, but she wanted Greg for so long that I didn’t think it like her to just be like ok I’m going to give him up and go after Nick. It seemed a little rushed and the fact that Greg was like ok do what you have to do and then never mentioned again made it almost like his character wasn’t even a necessity to Nick and Shelby being together. Final Thoughts:The alternating persons in this book is wonderful, but very different from other ones that I have read since it is still in third person even though it is alternating. As well since it is still third person there are things that we still aren’t privy to and this makes great for anticipation. It is a quick read that will leave you satiated at the end of the day.

There is nothing wrong with the book. The female character, Shelby, is strong and well spoken. She has her own matchmaking business and writes children books. The male lead, Nick, is a good guy. There were a few fun scenes and conversations. But I didn't like it. So it's probably me. For one, it was a little too predictable (I know, I know, I am reading a romance - what do I want?) - and the ending annoyed me because, once again, the guy had to grovel, fix his mistakes and apologize. Why are female characters always right? The story would have been lovely if I hadn't read a lot of similar books. But this tells me it is time I stop reading romances - at least for a while. Not rating.

Shelby, a young professional Matchmaker who is still recovering from the emotional and physical and scars of losing her parents to a tragic fire long ago, takes on her toughest client. Nick is good-looking, successful, and built. He’s also a little arrogant. So why would he need a matchmaking agency to find him a date, when women were likely lined up? The chemistry between them is a wonderful push-pull and a battle of strong wills from the moment they step onto the page together. She wants it all – a husband, a family, a forever kind of love. He wants a no-strings-attached relationship.Matching Mr. Right is a light and flirty romance with Shelby and Nick battling within themselves and battling with each other at the same time. It had a wonderful balance of emotion, humor, and sensuality. I will definitely read more from Tamra Baumann.I received this Advanced Reader Copy in exchange for a fair and honest review.

First of all I have to say this is now one of my favorite books! I felt so many different emotions, I laughed, I cried and I swooned! Shelby runs a successful matchmaking business and has been waiting for her best friends brother(Greg) to come home for two years because she thinks she is in love with him. Nick is a rich business man who has a sister that runs a family matchmaking business that isn't doing so well. He decides to go undercover at Shelby's agency to get info on her success to help his sister. Needless to say sparks fly when they meet. I loved how you see a friendship develop along with the love. They become great friends and pull some good pranks on each other. The chemistry is hot, the love beautiful, the friendship funny and emotional. Add in amazing secondary characters and you have one of the best books I've ever read!

Fun, light read and very enjoyable bookWow! This book s really good. I love that both characters are very likable. They both have issues that's controlled them to move forward but it was not told in the story heavily. Both were resolved as well. It kept the reading very entertaining. I love how their relationship has built up until they fell in love with each other. Love their conversations, it was fun, some dialogues are really funny. Love this author too. I have read several of her books in the past. Can't wait to read more. The ending is very sweet, it was perfect.

[email protected] 19% - just thought that the h told about her past a little too soon to the H. Something that tragic that happened to you I would think you wouldn’t go around telling someone you just met. Anyways, the reason for the H to not want kids or marriage because he’s afraid to be like his dad yet he has never cheated on anyone at all, just doesn’t fit to me. It’s a lame excuse. It’s not like there is genetic makeup that makes people cheaters. If he doesn’t want to cheat, then he doesn’t have to cheat. Really dumb. So no for me.

Wow!I absolutely LOVED the banter and chemistry between Shelby and Nick! I saw many different turns that were not taken throughout, because Ms. Baumann is the author here not me!! (I'm now taking the mental backseat and shutting up to let her drive-her way IS the best way!!) Thank you for the amazing story, still trying to figure out where the 6th star is for this book!! New favorite book will be a follower for sure!!

Decent story of two people people falling in love with each other but refuse to accept it because of their own hang-ups. Here is what drives me nuts about this book...the cover image. All through the book she talked about her scarred legs and how she doesn't let anyone see them but the cover picture shows her in a cute dress with legs exposed?!

This was a sweet story. I really did enjoy it, despite all of the romance cliches thrown in. A little originality would have been nice, but this was a decent, light and fluffy read.If you want a story with...1) A genuinely nice H who swears he'll never get married or have a family because he's afraid he'll turn out like dear old Dad?2) An h with a traumatic past, no real family to speak of, and has her own business where she can keep her flexible hours? She's also beautiful, but is a serious sports fan, can bake, and loves kids?3) An h who has a serious crush for a long time on her best friend's brother? And oh wait, he's coming home after a long time abroad and she can't wait to show him that she's not a little girl any more?...then you will enjoy this book. What I liked:1) The dual povs.2) The engaging writing style.3) Chester was a very cute character and his introductions to the chapters were fun.4) The h wasn't just a puddle of hormones around the H. Yes, she was attracted to him, but she didn't just jump him right away. They actually developed a friendship. Yes, it happens.5) The language was very clean and there weren't many sex scenes. Just one, I think. And it was done in a very tasteful, non-graphic manner. I always appreciate that about Tamra Baumann's stories.6) The H was really a decent guy. He loved his family, but is a little emotionally scared. He's very attractive, but doesn't use that as a means to have women falling all over him. He's not a manwhore, and that's refreshing. What I didn't like:1) ALL THE CLICHES.2) The angst with the crush didn't last very long. I know...it's weird. Me complaining about angst not lasting long enough? But seriously, I think it fell flat and wasn't very believable.3) The matchmaking, writing and cafe business really needed some fleshing out. Those elements were flat. So was the crush who finally came back home.

this is a sweet short read. This story follows Shelby, a matchmaker and children's book author, and Nick, a wealthy businessman. Nick signs up for Shelby's matchmaking services in hopes to find out what makes her so successful so he can help his sister's very small matchmaking business. Nick attempts to be a total ass in hopes that she would show him all that she has to offer in her business. Shelby instantly doesn't like Nick because he's arrogant, wealthy and successful and she doesn't understand why he would need her services, especially when he explicitly isn't looking for love but just sex. Nick has young niece who is obsessed with Shelby's children's book and through a series of events Shelby and Nick get some one on one time and start getting to know each other. This book is short and sweet. Recommend

This was such a fun book read! It's light hearted but yet deeply emotional at the same time. Shelby and Nick both have events from their past that haunt them yet the react to them in very different ways. Shelby yearns to find a forever love and create a family of her own. Nick vows to never give his heart to anyone. He loves his family deeply though and will do anything for them. That's why he decides to help save his sister's business he needs to spy on her matchmaking competition. That's how he meets Shelby. She runs a matchmaking business as well as being a famous author of children's books. Posing as a nightmare of a client for her matchmaking services, Nick and Shelby become close as time goes on and he finds himself wanting more than her business secrets. Now he just needs to convince her that she has him all wrong and he's actually her Mr. Right!A great quick read that will touch your heart and leave you with a smile. I highly recommend it!

Cute story about a woman who plays matchmaker by day and writes children's stories (basically Curious George) by night. Except that mostly she doesn't have time for either, because she's too busy helping in her friend's cafe, going on her own dates, attending football games and social events (book signings, galas, fundraisers)... there's NO way.Mr. Right is the brother of her competitor who decides to learn her secrets for his sister but then somehow falls in love with her. She's supposed to be completely smitten with some other guy, most mostly the author doesn't develop that character at all, and it comes off as kind of shoddy writing.I don't know - I didn't hate the book, I just had enough issues with it not to like it. Hence the rating.

I am not one to read straight romance, it tends to have a paranormal element to it, so I was pleasantly surprised when the author gifted this ebook to me, after winning a contest. I had never read a book from Tamra so I had not expectations. It had all the elements that you would expect for a romance novel but the humour and sass of the main character had me captivated, and laughing, and read this book overnight! This was definitely a fun book to read and a wonderful introduction to this writer's series! I'd pick up another Tamra Baumann book again and plan to do so!

It's sweet. I do want Chester, EMILY n friend like Jo. They r the best.I love Summer, she does have some guts, funny as hell, n the character she created, Chester, just the shadow of hers. It is sad what she had been through n feel guilty for 22 years. Nick, a smart guy but stupid when it comes to family n the lady he loves. Mother, Lori, Emily n a Summer /Shelby. 3.5 his given, this book should be read when u are depressed, it can light up your dark.

What a fun read. Nick decides to pretend to need a matchmaker to see why her business is such a success compared to his sister's. What he doesn't expect is to fall for the matchmaker. This story had some laughs, romance, and some serious business. It flowed nicely. Can't wait to see what else Tamra has written.
