Much to my delight, this eighth book of the ‘Cade Creek’ series focuses on Dorien. He is the brother of former-biker-now-bar-owner Harvey, and I have been wondering what his story might be. Had I not read the blurb, I would have thought Dorien to be an absolute scumbag as I read the first few pages. The one thing that redeemed him immediately was his reaction to discovering Artie tied up in the trunk of the drug dealer’s car. What follows is a love story with many obstacles, including Dorien’s stupidity, the drug dealers’ and gun runners’ evil plans, and a leak in the undercover team that almost gets the good guys killed. This is an action-packed tale, brutal in places as you’d expect in a crime-filled mystery, with encounters between Dorien and Artie that made my laptop virtually smoke from the heat as I turned the pages.Artie has fought hard for his independence, from an age when he should have still been under his parents’ protection. The one time he shows a weakness by being kind, his evil stepfather takes advantage and sells him to a drug lord. He gets rescued by Dorien, much to his surprise, but Artie’s suffering is far from over. Not many would be able to deal with what he has to go through, but Artie is a lot stronger than he looks. And when he decides his days of being a victim are over, and that he wants to build a life with Dorien no matter how long he has to wait for him, Artie becomes unstoppable.Dorien is one tough guy. He has been trying to dismantle the drug cartel for a long time, and his undercover persona as a biker has pretty much become who he is—but only on the outside. He has a heart of gold, at least for Artie, and once he realizes how important Artie is to him, he moves heaven and earth to be with the man he is quickly falling in love with. Unfortunately the drug lord and his allies have other plans, and they make Dorien’s life pretty difficult. Not that this will stop Dorien. If you like stories about tough men who have their heart in the right place, if men who learn to stand up for themselves no matter what are your thing, and if you’re looking for a story that is as suspenseful as it is hot, then you will probably like this novella.NOTE: This book was provided by Siren Publishing for the purpose of a review on Rainbow Book Reviews.

This book is part of a series and should be read in order. Also this is a spin-off of the Blaecleah Brothers series and takes place in the same town with characters from that series showing up.Artie has had a rough life. He has been on his own since he was fifteen years old. His mother is a drug addict, and his stepfather is abusive. He was safer on his own. At least until his stepfather used Artie as a means to pay off a drug debt. And that is how Artie winds up bound in a trunk. This is also how he meets Dorian.Dorian is a good guy playing a bad guy. He has been undercover for years. When he sees Artie in the trunk he knows he cannot leave him there. So Dorian takes a chance and takes Arite. But there is something about Artie and Dorian cannot get him off his mind. Even if he knows it would be the best thing for Artie. This book moved fast. There is an instant and intense attraction between Dorian and Artie. The sex is hot and steamy. This two have a definite rollercoaster ride to their happily ever after. There is drama, betrayal, violence, and overall love. There was also a surprise visit from some old friends. I loved seeing the guys from the Special Operations series again.Overall a fast paced and high-octane read.* I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review through *

Decidedly adorable, much like Artie. I liked the undercover portion of the story because it didn’t come across as too far fetched, although there were certainly things which happened that I’m not so sure would in the real world, but that’s why it’s called fiction. Dorian and Artie are smoking hot together and now I can’t wait for Bear’s story.

Dorian was a tough guy. Until he saw Artie, tied up, in a trunk, tears in his eyes , pleading for him to not kill him or please just help him. Then all bets were off . Dorian knew taking Artie might get him killed but that didn't seem to matter. A GREAT love story from word one. I loved the adventure Stormy took us on so we could experience all that Dorian and Artie had to tell us. They were "it" for each other and it didn't matter how it had to be done or what he had to give up, but Dorian would NOT lose Artie. Absolutely loved every word of this story. Highly recommend it to anyone who knows love can not be defined by what sex you love but WHO you love. If you want a great it is! Enjoy.

3 Heart Review by KimberleyThis is book 8 in the series and it takes us back to Dorian, leader of the Dirty Dozen biker club and undercover DEA agent. While on an undercover mission, he sees Artie in the trunk of a low level drug dealer’s car. This of course, complicated things. One, because he couldn’t in good conscience leave the man in danger and two, he’s attracted to the him. Thinking fast on his feet, Dorian manages to get Artie to safety but it throws a bit of a wrench into his operation.Artie’s a good guy, a hardworking and smart young man who, thanks to his pig of a stepfather, ends up in the trunk of a drug dealer’s car. He’s completely smitten with Dorian but gets his heart broken when Dorian leaves him.I really like Artie’s character. He’s a bit quirky and I love a quirky character. Dorian’s character was a lot different than what I originally thought when he was introduced in Better Than Good. The action and storyline was really pretty good. She introduced more men into the story that I’m sure—I’m hoping—will be featured into their own stories. This series is really very good. The characters are engaging and the books are just the perfect length. They’re not too long where you’re overloaded but long enough to keep you satisfied until the next book. I am really interested in reading Bear’s story.I enjoy reading series and this one is worth taking the time to read. The books in this series have mild-to mid- level violence and may deal with issues such as domestic/family violence, physical, mental, sexual abuse and rape so if those are your triggers, I would recommend you skip those parts. This book is part of a series and as such should be read in sequential order. It is recommended that your read the Blaecleah Brothers Cowboy series as their characters cross over into this series. This book was provided free in exchange for a fair and honest review for Love Bytes. When Dorian finds an innocent in the middle of a gun deal will he blow his cover to protect him? In Little Bit of Nothing the eighth installment of Stormy Glenn’s Cade Creek series, Dorian’s honor is put to the test. He is already in a precarious position and finding Artie in the trunk of the car isn’t helping. But even when someone appears to be bad, Ms. Glenn has a trick up her sleeve. Dorian isn’t all that he appears but it is becoming obvious that he is becoming burned out. Will he be able to continue the charade without getting him or anyone else killed. I really enjoyed getting to know Dorian. We met him previously but with the focus on him, we see just how precarious his life is. I loved that even as he appeared to be an awful man, his character and honor still managed to shine through. And as he fell in love with Artie the choices he was left with became slimmer and less palatable. And Artie was given a raw deal. He is sold and the quality of the life he has left isn’t looking too good. That is until he meets Dorian. But can Artie accept what falling in love with Dorian will mean? This story was a wonderful addition to this series. Ms. Glenn gave us two men who needed each other in ways that were unexpected. Finding time to fall in love is at a premium and maintaining a safe environment is even harder to come by. But Ms. Glenn found a way for Dorian and Artie to learn how much they needed and loved each other. This is a wonderful addition to this series and I enjoyed seeing how Ms. Glenn extracted these two characters from the stickiness that has become their lives. Four Twinkling Stars

Amazing, incredible M/M action/romance !! Well written and interesting, with hot M/M sex, and wonderful characters, this story will make you happy in the end. Dorian is undercover, with his friend Bear, to put an end to a horrible guns, drugs, and trafficking cartel. When they are making a gun deal, they find Artie tied up in a trunk. Dorian can't just let him stay there with the bad guys, so he takes him. They get cozy and have feelings for each other. This smaller man, Artie, is just a "little bit", but has a big heart that has captured Dorian's. After hot, meaningful sex, Dorian has work to get back to, and leaves Artie at home. He's attacked and Dorian finds him beaten badly in the hospital. Dorian and Bear take him to Cade Creek to heal in safety. Dorian claims Artie as his, and the town will protect him while Dorian and Bear head back to close out the cartel. These men are perfect for each other. They need each other like they need air to breathe. This beautiful tale is emotional, thought-filled, caring, suspenseful, romantic, and has lots of action. It's terrific !!!Highly recommend this tender, deep feeling story of acceptance, forgiveness, understanding, and true love. ENJOY !!!

What bugs me the most is after the attack granted Artie has a bit to get back to the land of the living but the intercourse thing should have taken longer..Otherwise, Not a whole lot to complain about. I did have an inkling of who the leak was but still there's plenty of action and some new characters (Bear) to get to know.Oh the other thing that bothered me.. did anyone else notice this?? Dorian kept talking about the meet with the Martinez brothers.. and then later asks for help from Angelo MARTINEZ... did someone get wires crossed with the last names? Cus the meet guys are part of the gun sting hopefully to lead to bigger fish..Ok, one more thing... what about the Motorcycle Club? How did he use that for a cover if he created it without doing some really shady things? It would have taken years to build up a rep of badass vs if he'd managed to take it over from a previous leader? Another unanswered question..3.5

Oh god. They now created a crossover to another series by this author – one that had a good first volume and turned mind-numbingly stupid immediately afterwards. I guess it makes sense. But I still weep for that first book.Other than that it’s business as usual. Lots of silliness and fast forevers. Not that I necessarily mind the latter, but usually I prefer to have a lil more interaction before it gets to that stage, no matter the time frame. On the plus side there were a few cute moments, such as when Artie is taking apart Harvey’s stereo and comments that Harvey is “intense”. That just tickled me.

This is probably one of the better ones from Cade Creek. Definitely better than the last. (view spoiler)[Would to have like to have seen SOMEONE put the beat down on Artie's stepdad in person rather than just some jail time. (hide spoiler)]Overall, I was happy with this one.
