Jack Learns to Grill Reviews
Jack Learns to Grill, the first book in a series from debut children's author, Paula D. Walker Baker, is a wonderful and lovely tale about a curious dingo named Jack, who lives at Baker's Acres. He's bored one day and his Mom suggests he ask Dad to teach him how to grill. Follow Jack on his misadventures through his beloved farm home and on his quest to learn something new each day about life. Mrs. Baker has set the stage for a beautiful new children's series, all filled with heart, soul, and valuable lessons. The illustrations inside the book are equally captivating. Highly recommended for kids of all ages. I can't wait to see what Jack learns next. Congratulations on a terrific debut, Paula!
Jack Learns to Grill is a great story. People may not think this of children’s books, but it’s true. Jack is an adopted dog taken in and nurtured by a loving family. He finds his way in the world through curiosity and playful humor calling his owners “mom” and “dad” respectively. Not only will children love hearing and reading this book, but I think there’s a more important message behind it. We should treat animals kindly and with love; not only because they need us, but because we need them too.
