Ouch! was a not the type of book i would have read usually (its non-fiction XP) but i LOVED it,I only picked it cause my mom was bringing up the subject of reading books that might be more centered in the educational area.it might be a tad visual, but i loved it, it talks about how your body reacts in different situation, for an example, sweating, cuts, vomiting, asthma ect.... It explained everything in a way i found easy to understand. This book really gave me no choice but to finish it, it was really interesting and i had a lot of -wow..i didn't know my body did that....-like when i found out that the the vein that has been cut shrinks to reduce blood loss when you've been cut. I enjoyed this book a lot, but i admit the vomiting chapter wasn't the most pleasing to my stcomach...

Very interesting book that takes a look inside our bodies when we are ill, hurt or suffering from various viruses. From why it isn't good to squeeze a pimple to why it is good to sneeze, page after page of interesting information along with eye-catching images make learning fun. Tastefully done, wasn't gross. Well worth reading.

The perfect gift for a teenage boy who doesn't like reading. Comes with a CD-ROM which apparently has the graphic details.
