Meanwhile, Jessie has made a choice that reverberates around the world. Once, after finding Josh - the love of her life - in a smelly garbage pile, she had told him there is always hope. Now she clings to that advice herself, hoping against hope that she will find her way back to him, to Josh, to the man whose chestnut hair she loves to tuck behind his ear, the man who helped her find a reason to live again.Jessie’s world implodes when she must match the old with the new and, in the mix, a dangerous aggressor provides the match that fuels the flames of betrayal, inadvertently revealing the true meaning of sacrifice.“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”- King James Bible (John 15:12-13)...

BEST SERIES OF THE YEAR FOR ME!! This series just hit my favorite series of the year list. Honestly I am so emotional after just finishing the reading of this final installment. This book was brilliantly written and had me in tears and in knots so many times thru-out that I cannot even count the moments. The characters are all well developed and richly charasmatic. Many of the circumstances are emotionally raw and beautiful at the same time. I was thinking while reading how so many people pass thru out lives, in many capacities. Many are long-lasting relationships and others last only a short while. This does not dimish the short lived relationships capacity to change the direction of our lives though. Each serves a purpose and romantic relationships that do not last do not diminish the love that we felt at the time. I cannot recommend this series more highly. It is a beautiful emotional ride of freindship, love, loss, redemption and the most important thing...HOPE.Miss Rodgers....keep writing stories like this and I will be a forever fan!

I have truly loved this series! It has definitely become a favorite! Susan has such a poetic and fluid writing style that it is easy to read her books and get lost in her writing. This series is filled with so many emotions and it was such a joy to watch as they all grew over the series. Charlie, one of the least liked characters from book one, grows tremendously over the series and is a true testament to how your life choices can change who you are and you can make yourself a better person. Josh was able to overcome powerful demons and become a solid friend and partner for Jessie. And Jessie herself was able to put her ghosts to rest and find herself for the first time. Susan tied up all the loose ends in this last novel and what a perfect ending to a phenomenal series! By the way: as someone who lived in Charleston SC I loved the references to the amazing Angel Oak tree and other historic landmarks in a city laced with some much history! High Cotton is delicious as well!

This series just keeps getting better and better (as promised) and I have told all of my friends to read it! I feel as if I'm part of this intimate group of friends. I get "the code", unlike Michelle. Their stories both break and warm my heart.

Knowing how many books there on in this series I decided after book 2 to pace myself. The ending of Promises has stayed with me for a long time but I miss Jessie and the gang and it was time to pick up No Greater Love. The beginning felt a bit slow but it really picked up after a short while. I liked how a significant amount of time has passed since Jessie disappeared. Jessie and Josh both found people and even though that breaks my heart, I could totally understand. It was time. I kept wondering HOW these two would get back together (come on let’s face it…it’s all about Jessie & Josh) but I thought after all the build-up throughout that the ending was abrupt. I am looking forward to the next book and seeing what’s in store for everyone.

I loved this series, it was a emotional journey that had twists and turns and I feel in love with the characters except "Deuce"... I can't wait to read more of your work as it's so beautiful written and still has that I can't put it down, I need to see what happens next. I'm sad it's over I want more Josh & Jessie! But it was wrapped up very nicely and I love all the different POV. I like knowing what each character is feeling, thinking. Great job Susan! I will post a review on iBooks which is where I bought your books.

2.5/5.0“No Greater Love” is the third book in the Drifter’s Series. Even though this contemporary story has a happily ever after, it is brutal in places.Read full review in the 2015 April issue of InD'tale Magazine.
