The Unhealthy Truth Reviews
A lot of stuff we've already heard- although a good primer for those who haven't. Still some nuggets of information and some good ideas about making changes to your family's diet. I especially like the 80/20 approach- that you try to make healthy options (no high fructose corn syrup, dairy without rbgh, no artificial colorings, organics,) 80% of the time, reserving 20% for reality- birthdays, occasional school lunches, etc.
I am rivited by the content of this book! A MUST READ BY ALL. Hunches I've had about genetically altered foods and allergies seem to be confirmed in this book. Why do we let these things be foisted upon us as a society??? We deserve better. Cancers, allergies, asthma and so much more may be increasing do to genetically altered foods to our diet.
A must read. This mom did all the research for us! She explains the relationship between the food industry and the pharmaceutical industry and why this relationship is very bad for our health and that of our children.
Interesting and scary!
